Detectives searching for burglary suspects

Blue Springs Police Department detectives are asking anyone with information about a recent burglary to come forward.

According to reports, at 10:51 p.m., Feb. 3, two unknown suspects entered a residence on the 2600 block of N.W. First Street. The suspects were described as a white male in his 20s, with a smaller build and blonde hair, wearing a black bandana over his lower face, a white ball cap and a jean jacket. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, medium build with dark hair, also wearing a black bandana over his lower face and a jean jacket.

Reports indicate there was no forced entry into the home; a garage door may have been left unlocked.

The suspects were reported to be armed with a handgun and took multiple items from the home. No one at the scene was injured however the family was extremely traumatized.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Blue Springs Police Department Detective Unit and detectives are asking Blue Springs residents who may know the suspects’ identities to call Blue Springs Police at 816-228-0151 or the TIPS Hotline.
