Helping Others

TOPS group donates items to charity

Members of the Blue Springs group TOPS – Taking Off Pounds Sensibly – stand behind a table full of donations for IMPACT, a charity sponsored by First Baptist Church of Blue Springs.

Members bring in canned goods, personal items, diapers and toilet paper once a month to donate to the charity which provides food and financial assistance to those in need in the Blue Springs area.

For the past two years TOPS members have donated food and say they will continue to do so because, “We’ve had a lot of blessings in the past, there are too many people out there in need.”
