Green eggs and ham were on the menu during "dinner theatre" at James Lewis Elementary, Jan. 25.
The dinner finished a week-long literacy celebrate of Dr. Seuss's 50th anniversary.
Teachers Kathy Clark, Theresa Kramer and Dade were recently awarded a $2,500 grant from the Blue Springs Education Foundation that made the celebration possible.
The week included literacy activities, spirit days, guest readers, a poster contest, canned soup drive and the family celebration Friday night.
