The fundraiser, hosted by the Mozer family, also included a dunk tank, face painting, grilled food, T-shirts and a giveaway for a Smart Car and a $100 Hy-Vee gift card. The lemonade stand raises money to fight childhood cancer.
Alex’s Lemonade Stands popped up across Kansas City over the weekend to raise money for childhood cancer.
The stand at the Blue Springs Hy-Vee, which raised around $8,000, was hosted by the Mozer family. Jacob Mozer, 13, was diagnosed with Nueroblastoma when he was 16- months-old.
