Blue Springs Historical Society to host garden tour

The Blue Springs Historical Society will host a garden tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 19.

Six gardens from elegant French to a container’s garden dream will be on display.

The gardens include: * Waits Garden, 1204 W. Beverly Rd., Independence

* Olejko Garden, 1604 Lexington, Independence

* Celano Garden, 1709 NW 11th St. Ct., Blue Springs

* Myers Garden, 4200 SW 14th St. Blue Springs

* Zucca Garden, 117 Dockside Circle, Lake Tapawingo

Advanced tickets are $6, day of tickets are $8. Tickets are being sold at Ben’s Garden Center, Petals & Potpourri, Yellow Strawberry, Vintage Daisy and at the Dillingham-Lewis House Museum, 101 S.W. 15th St. in Blue Springs.

Tickets can also be purchased at each garden.
