BS man identified as victim of deadly M-7 crash

Authorities say Matthew D. Kellogg of Blue Springs was the motorcyclist killed last week on Missouri 7 just south of Northeast Colbern Road.

The crash occurred about 6:30 p.m. June 28 as Kellogg, 20, was northbound and crashed into another northbound vehicle that was turning left into a private drive, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

Kellogg was dead at the scene. His passenger was flown to a hospital with injuries. The other driver was not hurt.
