Jacquin D. Gruenewald

Jacquin D. Gruenewald, 80, Blue Springs, died July 10, 2010 at The Groves, Independence.

She was born August 12, 1929 in Belleville, Ill., the daughter of the late James and Mary (Chinn) Bailey. She was united in marriage to Robert Gruenewald on Nov. 27, 1948 in Belleville. Jacquin worked for many years as a surgical technician at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Lynne E. Bond. Jacquin leaves behind her children, Brad Gruenewald, Belleville, Todd Gruenewald, Millstadt, Ill., and Jan Jones, Blue Springs; sister, Joan Nallick, Panama City, Fla.; brother, James Bailey, Tyler, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gruenewald will be cremated under the direction of Meyers Funeral Chapel. Memorial services are pending.
