Structure fire damages BS home

The Central Jackson County Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire late Monday night.
According to reports, the CJCFPD received a 911 call on a report of a fire just before midnight on Aug. 9.
When firefighters arrived, one of the occupants of the home reported smelling smoke earlier in the evening. She later went outside and saw smoke coming from the home. No injuries were reported.
The fire investigator traced the source of the fire back to electronics set up in the living room, though the exact cause of the fire is still unknown.
