Erma J. Flanery, 84, Blue Springs, died Aug. 18, 2010 at the Kansas City Hospice House.</p><p>Erma was born Feb. 15, 1926 in Lansing, Mich. She was united in marriage to Eugene Flanery Oct. 28, 1945. Erma dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was Episcopal by faith. Erma cherished the times she spent with her family and always enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.</p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Daltow.</p><p>Erma leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, including her husband, Eugene of the home; daughter, Louise Virden and husband, James, Luther, Okla.; nephew, Mike Daltow and wife, Barbara, Hernandez, Miss.; great-nephew, Joseph Daltow, Tennessee; great-great-nephew, Connor Daltow, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Kennedy and Jace Virden, Luther.</p><p>The family received friends Aug. 20 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, Blue Springs. Graveside services followed at Blue Springs Cemetery with Rev.
