Eastern Jackson County Development Alliance to host seminar on state, local incentives
The Eastern Jackson County Development Alliance will host a free informational seminar on state and local incentives for Missouri businesses Sept 19. The seminar will be held from 8 to 11:45 a.m. at the University of Central Missouri Summit Center at the Summit Technology Campus in Lees Summit.
The seminar, geared for manufacturing, warehouse, technology and office environments, will educate businesses on state and local tax, finance and training incentives available in Missouri. The program will feature keynote speakers who work directly with the incentive programs both on state and local levels.
This seminar will benefit various types of businesses on the eastern side of Kansas City, said Robbie Makinen, Economic Development Coordinator, Jackson County Economic Development. The afternoon session will focus on specific opportunities and incentives for Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Grandview, Independence, Lees Summit, Oak Grove and Raytown.
