Next week, the Blue Springs Journal will enter a new era.
Transparency is key
I must disagree with your commentary printed in the March 6 issue.
As usual, I am going to preface my remarks by saying that, yes, it is good to have thoughtful, mindful city councilmen and women representing their districts and asking the tough questions at city council meetings.
After this nasty cold and snowy weather, spring and summer will come. I just know they will.

I support Starner
Have we not missed enough opportunities in Blue Springs? Our last best chance to make up for the blown opportunities of the past is the Missouri Innovation Project.

Clarifying a statement
I am writing in response to Mr. Pratt’s statement from last week’s Blue Springs Journal article that I voted for him to assume a leadership position in the Missouri House of Representatives.

MU Hall of Fame welcomes Fry
Sure, judges and courtrooms can be challenging, but Ryan Fry has faced intense pressure his entire life.
Folks, I became painfully aware of a situation the other day as I made a visit to my husband, Don’s, final resting place.

Attention to local charities is attention to Haiti
As the horrifying numbers continue to mount from last week’s Haitian disaster – more than 200,000 at last count – Americans are feeling a collective compulsion to help.
